Visit to the Intelligent Neurosurgery Clinic Today, we were visited by the Minister of Family, Labor, and Social Protection of our Republic, Lenara Khakimovna Ivanova. We showed Lenara Khakimovna the clinic and discussed joint projects to assist patients with movement disorders.
During the meeting, Rezida Galimova discussed the center’s capabilities and demonstrated clinical examples of using MRI-guided focused ultrasound to eliminate tremor and spasticity in patients with dystonia, essential tremor, and Parkinson’s disease. The results of operations for treating tremor and various dystonias were presented, and complications and recurrences were analyzed. In turn, colleagues from the “Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Neurology and Neurosurgery” shared their experience in treating extrapyramidal disorders.
