Seminar LIMU about non-contact treatment of movement disorders with powerful focused ultrasound

16 a Zoom seminar was held in September LIMU based on the summer visit of Lomonosov Moscow State University staff as part of research collaboration.

▪️about the mechanisms of transcranial (= through the skull) destruction of brain tissues by powerful focused ultrasound ( HIFU)
▪️about movement disorders, which are already being treated with the help of HIFU
▪️about the stages of such an operation and the results achieved at the V.S. Buzaev International Medical Centre
▪️new challenges LIMU in the field of transcranial ultrasound, including in collaboration with the V.S. Buzaev International Medical Centre
