Alina Bikbulatova: Residency, Fears, and a Brilliant Performance

15.11.2024/by Igor Buzaev

Meet Alina Bikbulatova

Meet Alina Bikbulatova, a person who proved through her own example how important it is to believe in yourself and your abilities. Her story begins from the very start, when as a child she dreamed of being part of a team capable of performing miracles in medicine. However, she had to face the problem of public speaking. Fear of the audience, the fear of forgetting words or saying something wrong—all of this prevented her from expressing herself.

Bikbulatova Alina Ayratovna - clinical resident radiologist. Laureate of the V.S. Buzaev internship

A turning point in Alina’s life was the opportunity to intern at the Buzaev Clinic, an institution known for its advanced techniques and unique approach to training young specialists. This internship was a real challenge for her, as it taught not only modern medical technologies but also nurtured true leaders in their fields. Alina’s mentors, Rezida Maratovna and Igor Vyacheslavovich, helped her tackle this task. A tremendous amount of joint work was done, providing valuable advice and recommendations that helped her become more confident in herself and her abilities. She was ready to be anxious but knew she could overcome her fears thanks to them.

«I won an internship at the Buzaev Clinic, and in two months of training, I managed to start mastering not only MRI diagnostics but also enhance my knowledge in neurosurgery and develop soft skills — public speaking. It was an incredible challenge, but the support of mentors helped me grow”

— tells Alina

All this led her to participate in the Conference of Neurosurgeons of the Volga Federal District, where she first presented a report on the revolutionary technology for treating hypothalamic hamartoma without incisions

«I presented the experience of one of the first treatments in the world for hypothalamic hamartoma without incisions using the latest MRgFUS technology. It was an incredible experience that allowed me to grow as a professional. I am grateful to my educational base for the support and to all the mentors for the opportunity to touch the future of medicine”

— a girl shares her experiences

Thanks to the support of the clinic team and her belief, she overcame all barriers, proving that even a novice doctor can become a true innovator in their field.

«Let this post be a push for someone toward new achievements. Believe in yourself — and one day you too can stand on stage among legends!»

— encourages Alina
