Neuroforum 2023, Moscow
From June 22 to 23, the team of neurologists from our medical center actively participated in the annual key event that unites practical and theoretical neurology, Neuroforum 2023.

This event is important for professional development for neurologists, geneticists, radiologists, therapists, general practitioners, neurosurgeons, cardiologists, intensivists, pediatricians, rehabilitation specialists, functional diagnostics doctors, pharmacists, and all interested professionals. Over two days of lectures, presentations, and discussions on modern neurology at the Neuroforum, there were more than 800 participants and nearly 2000 online listeners from 85 regions of Russia and 15 foreign countries.
It was a great honor for us to present our experience in treating symptoms of dystonia using MRI-guided focused ultrasound (MRgFUS), an innovative non-invasive method without incisions, anesthesia, or pain to eliminate pathological movements, stiffness, and slowness in movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and dystonia. Over the years, our center has accumulated unique experience in assisting patients with various forms of dystonia from different countries. Rezida Galimova, a neurosurgeon and clinic director, presented an analysis of the work with videos of patients before and after treatment. Currently, we are monitoring twenty patients with various forms of dystonia after MRgFUS with positive results.
Neuroforum is a platform that brings together neurologists from many cities and regions of Russia. Our doctors were pleased to meet colleagues from Orenburg, Chelyabinsk, Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Perm, Penza, Samara, and other cities in Russia.
