  • Improve mobility, strength, and balance;
  • Reduce limb tremors
  • Reduce anxiety, depression, fatigue
  • Slow the progression of the disease

Numerous studies prove that physical exercise is just as important,  as well as taking medications for Parkinson’s disease!

However, despite the aforementioned advantages, a very small percentage of patients reach a specialist  on therapeutic physical culture  There can be many reasons: from lack of time to the limited mobility of patients in the later stages. Patient Reviews

Hello! I will definitely continue participating in your school!

Participation in your project provides a lot of benefits and effectiveness. I do all the exercises. Thank you to all the doctors for their kindness and attention.

Hello! Thank you for the exercises! I repeat them every day! I feel relief when walking and I perform cognitive tasks. Thank you to the doctors for the kind advice!

I am reviewing all the information, it’s very engaging, and I’ve learned a lot of interesting things. I try to do the exercises from the physical therapy trainer, but not everything works out; I walk with a walker after a pelvic bone fracture.

Noticed improvements, I think the training had a positive effect, I’m ready to move forward.

I did exercises that were professionally selected for patients. Thanks to the physical therapy coach!

Good evening, yes I am participating, and the physical therapy and cognitive tasks seem interesting and simple at first glance, but that’s not the case. There are challenges in execution. The doctors explain everything very clearly, for which I am very grateful!

I review all the materials, read and listen to all the information. I do the exercises, although not everything works out, but I try.

Thank you very much to your wonderful specialists for such an idea. It is a great support and help!

Good afternoon, I want to express my immense gratitude to you for the tremendous help to patients with Parkinson’s disease!

Thank you so much for the detailed answers to questions, recommendations, and advice, for exercises not only for the muscles but also for the brain. I tried to follow all the recommendations and exercises, although it doesn’t always work out, but I will continue to strive for maximum results. A huge thank you to Gulnara Nailevna for the positive energy and support.

Your smile, charm, professionalism, and clear and accessible explanations inspire hope for recovery! Thank you to all the organizers for such a wonderful project, you are amazing for bringing us back to a full life, living becomes easier with you! Ready to go further with you, what is needed for this?

I agree with everything written above. A huge thank you to the organizers, doctors, and all participants of the project!

Dear creators of the community for people with Parkinson’s disease and our dear Gulnara Nailevna!

Thank you so much for your work in creating the community. We can now receive consultations, medication recommendations, explanations about our illness, and more, even without leaving home/online.

There are many questions, as seen in the patients’ correspondence. Our dear, kind, smiling, and patient Gulnara Nailovna always provides comprehensive answers to our questions. And the beautiful Ekaterina explains all the physical therapy exercises so clearly   my grandchildren do exercises with me, they really enjoy fine motor skills exercises

Thank you so much for your warm and kind words. Your kindness helps us return to life!

Frequently Asked Questions

Logo of the Parkinson's Disease Patient Community "Semitsvetik "

Can an elderly patient connect to the program independently?

Our community is organized on the platform WhatsApp for the convenience of all users as well as in contact with participants, curators who help to resolve any difficulties encountered

Is it possible to participate in the community for patients with other movement disorders?

Yes, among our participants are people living with multiple system atrophy, essential tremor, and other nervous system disorders.

Can I join the community if I don’t live in Ufa?

Of course, our community is online, and you can connect from anywhere in the world.

At what stage of Parkinson’s disease is participation possible?

Our video workouts are created by a therapeutic exercise specialist in collaboration with neurologists, making them beneficial for patients at any stage of the disease. For patients with limited mobility at stages 4-5 of the disease, we recommend performing the exercises while lying down.

Security

Your SAFETY during training is very important to us, so most exercises are performed in a seated position or standing with support.

Our leading neurologist, Olga Valeryevna Kachemaeva, recorded a video guide on the rules to follow for training to be as safe and effective as possible.

Before starting the video workouts, make sure to watch the video instructions!

Three factors  training safety

1. Safety of the Space Around You

Non-slip floor. There is no rug on the floor that you can trip over.  No foreign objects or wires underfoot. No pets that might interfere with the training. The chair you are sitting on or plan to lean on is as stable as possible (has 4 legs, a high back, and armrests). You are wearing comfortable, closed shoes.

2. Body condition before training

To determine which of the three training levels is suitable for you, whether you need assistance from another person during training, and which training is the MOST safe for you, we offer you to take a test:

3. Exercise Tolerance

It is recommended to measure blood pressure and pulse before starting a workout.  Calculating the maximum heart rate during exercise using the formula:  HR max = 220 — Age  Calculating a Gentle Workout Regimen:  ЧССщад. = ЧСС max * 0,6 You can send the test results to our email info@buzaevclinic.ru with the subject “For Nabiullina D.I. For LFK training”

MORSE Fall Risk Scale

Morse Fall Scale  (Morse Fall Scale) is used to assess the probability of fall risk due to hereditary or acquired risk factors. Method  most often used by nursing staff during patient hospitalization. Test results are updated daily depending on the condition

Assess risk

How to evaluate the results of the Morse Scale?

0-24 low risk of falls. You can perform training at all three levels without external supervision

24-50 risk of falling is moderate. Level 1 and 2 exercises can be performed, external supervision is recommended for level 3 exercises

>51 high risk of falling. Level 1 training can be performed. Level 2 training should be strictly supervised. Level 3 training is not recommended.
