Mission and Vision of the Buzaevclinic Team
V.S. Buzaev International Medical Centre
The Alchemy of Intelligence and Compassion
We created this page to share with you the values, worldview, and profession of each of us. Here you will find the foundations taught to us by Vyacheslav Stepanovich Buzaev — a person whose ideas inspire us every day.
Our motto, “Extraordinary people in an outstanding team transform medicine and heal people,” has become more than just words; it’s part of our soul and corporate culture, setting us apart from others. It permeates all aspects of our work—from the organization’s policies and structure to the system of building all processes. You will see it in how we allocate resources, hire employees, develop strategy, and manage operations. It is the foundation of our life, essence, and organization. We choose to be different!
Any good endeavor should have a deep philosophical foundation and a system of values. The principles outlined here are shared by all employees of our center. Let’s embark on an exciting journey through our values, starting with our vision and mission.
Our Vision
Vision is not just a goal, it’s our dream of how we want to see the world of the future.
We create a world where it is easy for people to maintain a healthy and happy life, and treatment is painless, error-free, and humane.
Mission of the buzaevclinic team
We are a team driven by the ideas of humanism, transforming medicine and healing people
Humanism is caring for every person
We believe that human life is the highest value. Therefore, all our efforts are aimed at making it as comfortable and safe as possible. We use intelligent methods, a personalized approach, and minimally invasive procedures to help each patient.
Together we can make the world better, healthier, and kinder.
Our Goals
- We want every patient with movement disorders to know about us and have the opportunity to receive help. We strive for every person we can assist to learn about us and find support.
- We want to become a clinic that makes the impossible possible, solves complex problems, and constantly improves medicine by example.
- We want to train a new generation of doctors who will share our values and research approaches.
Problems We Solve
- We are working to make medicine more modern and accessible.
- We help patients whom no one else could help and answer their questions.
- We believe it is important to unite the efforts of patients and healthcare professionals to improve the quality of treatment together.
- We offer state-of-the-art and non-invasive neurosurgical treatment for patients with movement disorders, tremor, and Parkinson’s disease.
- We are preparing a new generation of doctors who will share our values and approaches.
Our Strategies
We strive to solve tasks to the end, even if they seem impossible
For example,
- In 2018, we decided to create the first non-invasive neurosurgery center in Russia. It seemed almost impossible, but we assembled a team and did it.
- In 2020, when borders were closed due to the epidemic and clinical specialists could not come to us, we created an international online operating room and performed the first three dozen surgeries together with specialists from England, Spain, and Israel. We set an example for other centers in the same situation
- We also successfully operated on a hypothalamic hamartoma – a tumor previously considered very difficult to access with conventional surgery.
We always strive to be there for our patients, support them, and help them on their path to recovery
Every day we become better than we were yesterday, and this is confirmed by our actions. We critically evaluate and analyze our achievements, learn lessons, and strive to implement them. For us, it is important not only to send the patient home happy but also to care for their quality of life and health for many years. For example, the founders of our center personally listen to patients and are always open to their advice (Yandex, 2GIS, Google)
- We not only help people recover but also strive to make their lives better. The results of our treatment have been analyzed, and conclusions published to help others.
- Together with the esteemed academician Sergey Nikolaevich Illarioshkin, we wrote a book based on the experience of our center. In this book, you will find many examples of how we were able to improve ourselves and our work.
We think critically, analyze our results, constantly learn, and improve.
During the existence of the center, we created the first monograph on this technology, published our pioneering achievements in leading research journals, defended a doctoral and a PhD thesis, and developed a new device.
Collaborate and communicate with other experts
We collaborate with organizations such as the FUS Foundation, Movement Disorders Society, Scientific Center of Neurology, Lomonosov Moscow State University, and the leading Parkinson’s specialist in Russia, Academician Sergey Nikolaevich Illarioshkin
At our facility, we held the international conference FUNNC-2021, where we met with global pioneers in the treatment using MRgFUS.
We also actively collaborate with Bashkir State Medical University
We participate in conferences, exchange experiences, and organize them ourselves.
We share our knowledge, educate others, and gladly welcome outstanding individuals to our team
Our monograph on the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, tremor, dystonia, and other diseases is available for free access. We conduct courses and international conferences for doctors, and for patients, we have created the “Semitsvetik” school
Ethics and Transparency
We are changing the doctor-patient relationship. It is unlikely that any relatives could have dreamed of having the right to be present during a neurosurgical operation and assist the team. We advocate the concept of an “open operating room,” where relatives can participate in the treatment, hold the patient’s hand, and express their concerns. We believe that together we can make the world a better place.
