Jakob Papikyan at a consultation with neurologist Dinara Ravilyevna Teregulova at the Buzaev Clinic.

Musician Jakob Papikyan, originally from Armenia, lived his entire life in Libya. Parkinson’s disease gradually deprived him of the ability to play his favorite instrument.

An optimistic, smiling, calm, and very charming musician came to Russia with his wife so that the specialists at the Buzaevclinic could help him overcome his ailment.

He sang while we eliminated the tremor and checked the accuracy of the target selection in the brain—and after the surgery, just a couple of hours later, he played for us in the clinic hall. Sounds in the ultrasound range helped Jakob return to music. Isn’t it great?
