2020 – First Treatment with Focused Ultrasound (MRgFUS) in Russia and Post-Soviet Countries

2020 – World’s first implementation of MRgFUS with international telemedicine proctoring (remote online neurosurgery).

2024 – First monograph in Russia on focused ultrasound “Focused Ultrasound in the Treatment of Movement Disorders”. Distributed freely and openly.

2022 – Treatment of hypothalamic hamartoma using MRgFUS among the first three clinics in the world

2022 – The world’s first simultaneous bilateral surgery for essential tremor

2023 – PhD dissertation by Dinara Ilgizovna Nabiullina on MRgFUS treatment of essential tremor

2022 – The first MRgFUS treatment of neuropathic pain in Russia

2023 – Methodology implementation for modification SDR, which allows us to expand the indications for MRgFUS treatment. We can prepare the patient and increase the conductivity of bone tissue, thereby eliminating one of the contraindications

Ongoing Research


We are currently conducting research in the following areas:

Expanding the clinical application of neurological disease treatment in collaboration with the Scientific Center of Neurology and Bashkir State Medical University will help patients with a wider range of neurological diseases.

Preoperative preparation of patients with low ultrasound conductivity of the cranial bone tissue in collaboration with Lomonosov Moscow State University and Bashkir State Medical University will help patients for whom MRgFUS treatment was previously impossible due to the inaccessibility of the target brain area to ultrasound.

Modeling the scattering of focused ultrasound by bone tissue with Lomonosov Moscow State University and Bashkir State Medical University will allow for more precise targeting.

Rehabilitation of patients with Parkinson’s disease after MRgFUS treatment using exoskeletons in collaboration with the Scientific Center of Neurology and Bashkir State Medical University.

Treatment of patients with psychiatric disorders in collaboration with the V.M. Bekhterev National Medical Research Center for Psychiatry and Neurology.

Modern methods of MRI neuroimaging in neurodegenerative diseases with the Scientific Center of Neurology and Bashkir State Medical University.
